Big Bass Studio
Big Bass Studio surprised the whole team. On paper it's a fishing game, but the real loop is running a small lakeside studio: you cast out, reel in different fish, and use what you catch to slowly grow your little operation. The whole thing works without a connection, which is exactly why we picked it up.
Controls are gentle and one-handed. You tap to cast, then hold and drag to keep tension on the line while the fish pulls. There's a rhythm to it that clicks after a few catches, and the game never rushes you. Between sessions you organize your studio, unlock new spots, and upgrade your gear at your own pace.
What stuck with us was the mood. It's not trying to be flashy. The water animation is soft, the sound design is calm, and progress feels earned rather than handed out. It became our default game for waiting rooms and slow evenings.
